Poland allocates 5.5 million euro for Georgia

Poland sends 5,5 million euros in aid for Georgia until 2010, told reporters the Director of Department for Development Cooperation Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marek Zyulkovsky at the conference "Poland's support for Georgia."

According to him, the funds allocated for Georgia will be aimed at rebuilding the country after the August conflict. In particular, will be restored important strategic elements of infrastructure.

In addition, financial assistance will go to the development of the Georgian regions, as well as the strengthening of democratic processes in the country: only about 30 different projects.

Zyulkovsky noted that Georgia was, is and will be a priority for the Polish state, which will be assisted.
